I was born & raised in the mountains of north Alabama. I love the outdoors, traveling, sweet tea, yard sales, a good book, a good laugh and long naps on a Sunday afternoon.

The good Lord has blessed me with an amazing family. I am nothing without my husband. He is my rock, my heart, my darling. He calls me bug & it always makes me smile.

{hint : don't answer that or I might have to whoop you}
Of course, I also have to tell you about the other man in my life...
He's short, chubby, bald, unemployed and {obviously} is a messy eater.
But he makes my heart skip a beat everytime he smiles.
Meet baby boy {ain't he just the cutest?!?!}
Then there's Jackie.
My sweet husband came with a little bit of baggage.
A shelter dog that sheds like a wooly mammoth in the summertime.
She & I have an ongoing power struggle over who he loves more.
I sometimes yell at her & she chews up various household items on the couch.
It's a give-and-take relationship.
My journey to this point in my life has been long & bumpy.
But all the struggles made me stronger.
So ya'll pull up a chair, pour you a glass of tea and sit a spell!
